HOW TO READ THE SPECS

Numbers need context.

Field of view (FOV)

The angle of the visible image. A wider FOV can make content feel larger, but the quoted diagonal figure is not the same as usable horizontal FOV.

Brightness

Check whether a figure is measured at the microdisplay or stated as perceived image brightness. Manufacturer methods can differ, so figures are not always directly comparable.

Refresh rate

A higher maximum refresh rate may require a supported host, resolution or mode. It does not guarantee every app runs at that rate.

Tracking

3DoF tracks rotation; 6DoF also tracks movement through space. Some glasses rely on a companion device or accessory for spatial features.

Our data and verification policy

We prioritise manufacturer product pages, technical specifications and support documentation. Independent reviews are used only to add context, not to silently replace a manufacturer's stated specification.
